The HenneseeSchleife loop of the SauerlandRadring takes you from the start in Meschede along the Ruhr to Wennemen.

You cycle along former railroad lines through the picturesque Wennetal valley and the typical low mountain range landscape of the Sauerland to Eslohe. The tour leads back to Meschede via the villages of Bremke and Reiste, past the Hennesee and the Himmelstreppe.

At the Hennesee, cyclists have the opportunity to take a refreshing dip on or in the lake, but a boat trip is also a great way to relax. This can also be used to shorten the route along the banks of the Hennesee.

There are numerous playgrounds and attractions for young and old along the route. These include the DampfLandLeute Musseum in Eslohe and bathing bays on the Hennesee.

Back in Meschede, there is still plenty for children to discover on the ride through the Hennepark to the city center via the Hennebouevard.
